We currently have an opportunity for a highly motivated team player as a Slotter in our Inventory Department. In this role, you will play a crucial role in organizing and optimizing the storage of inventory within our Fulfillment Center. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
AVAILABLE SHIFTMonday-Friday, 3:00pm - 11:30pm (Overtime as needed)RESPONSIBILITIESSlot Inventory: Efficiently slot incoming inventory into designated storage locations within the warehouse, ensuring proper categorization and organization according to established protocols.Monitor Inventory Levels: Regularly monitor inventory levels and identify opportunities to optimize storage space and minimize stock outs.Maintain Inventory Accuracy: Conduct routine inventory counts and audits to maintain accurate inventory records. Investigate and resolve discrepancies as needed.Pull and systematically process damaged, expired, and recalled items as needed.Collaborate with Team: Work closely with other members of the Inventory Control team to coordinate slotting activities and ensure seamless workflow.Implement Best Practices: Continuously identify and implement best practices for inventory slotting and storage, with a focus on maximizing efficiency and accuracy.Operate Equipment: Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to transport inventory as needed.Adhere to Safety Protocols: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of slotting activities, inventory adjustments, and any relevant incidents or observations.QUALIFICATIONSHigh School Diploma or GED Equivalent Preferred, 2-year degree in logistics or inventory managementAbility to physically count and move products on shelves, racks, and palletsAbility to read and interpret documents such as inventory reports, operating procedures to ensure inventory is audited and accurateAbility to effectively communicate both verbally and writtenMust be able to safely operate all powered equipment (forklift, electric pallet jacks, manlift)BELONG TO A BETTER COMMUNITYComprehensive health benefits (medical, dental, vision, life, and disability)Competitive pay + equityOpportunities for advancement.
