The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders. Minimum Requirements: + Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required + Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract. + Current CPR if applicable + TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable + Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements + Must be at least 18 years of age General Comments In Person SLP only. Must have IL PEL with SLP endorsement to qualify. school details: School 1: 1 Preschool class morning and afternoon 15 students. Some are verbal, some are non verbal. School 2: Preschool 9 students morning and afternoon sessions School 3: K-5 grade 5 students Between these 3 schools there is open time to get to know the students, meetings, and evolutions. The schools are close to each other. There are also early intervention meetings. The speech only students on their IEP the speech path is the case manager. If the student has more than Speech there are case managers at every school. The school hours are 7:35-2:50.
