Small Animal Veterinarian Kirkwood Animal Hospital

Kirkwood Animal Hospital is currently looking for a team oriented, flexible, collaborative Veterinarian to join our hospital team. Our experienced hospital staff loves working together to make the long days seem not so long! If you are quick on your feet, love to learn and willing to be a part of a working family then we should talk.

Are you a qualified Veterinarian looking to expand your skillset or perhaps an experienced ER Veterinarian who is tired of overnights and would love to practice during the day? Why not consider a change?

Annual compensation is commensurate with experience, $250,000 plus earning potential (per a 3.5-to-4-day work week).  We pay our associate veterinarians based on a ProSal compensation method that allows for diligent work ethic to be rewarded consistently ranging from $140,000-$230,000 base pay.  See https://todaysveterinarybusiness.com/pro-on-prosal/ .

As part of our hospital team, your patients will be cared for by our experienced and supportive veterinary technicians and staff allowing you to focus on your patient's wellness or medical plans. Our team is led by experienced management staff focused on creating comprehensive medical patient care standards, upbeat work culture and committed to continual growth. Offering competitive salary and compensation packages to allow for a healthy work life balance!

As an Associate Veterinarian, you will have access to all the tools needed to care for the pets that come through our doors. Equipment like digital radiology, ultrasound, full in-house laboratory, anesthesia monitoring equipment and access to boarded orthopedic surgical services and radiology will be at your disposal.

We are a unique hybrid hospital seeing a strong mix of General Practice cases as well as Urgent Care! We have a deeply rooted desire to take care of every patient in our community “family”. It is common to see same day appointments plus urgent care cases and we pride ourselves on being accessible to our clients! Whether it is a severely upset stomach causing vomiting/diarrhea, itchy skin or a bloated pet where we come to find out there is a stomach blockage requiring immediate surgery – we try to be there for our clients! Our team takes great pride in servicing the community 5 days/week. Visit our Hospital Website or take a Virtual Tour to learn more!
