The Demand Generation team sits in the UK Acquisition and Marketing Team within the International Card Services organization, which recently brought together American Express consumer and commercial international issuing businesses to operate within a single business unit.

Commercial acquisition is a dynamic, fast-growing area of the business as we continue to lead and innovate in the commercial payments solutions space within the UK. The team are responsible for generating demand for our B2B products which help small, mid-size, and large corporations around the world manage nearly every facet of their business spending. 

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate, forward-thinking individual looking to build on their marketing skills in a fast-paced environment. The role will focus on a number of SBS (Small business services) initiatives and channels to help us meet our goals of driving upper funnel metrics (awareness and consideration) alongside continuously optimising our demand generating channels to drive growth (site traffic and ultimately, NAA – New accounts acquired).

How will you make an impact in this role?

With the support of a B35 and working alongside x1 B30, the Acquisition Executive will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of our calendar of marketing activity for SBS Gold and Platinum including campaigns, offer set up, content creation, website updates, partnership management and events in collaboration with colleagues from Marketing, Brand, Consumer, Product, Sales and PR.

Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Management: Plan and deliver successful acquisition activity across a number of channels to drive FVV our upper funnel metrics of awareness and consideration, for Amex Business, whilst driving quality traffic and NAA to site to sustainably grow our base Project management: Lead on end-to-end project statuses including updates on timings, budget, IMH and delivery, ensuring we stay on track and meet SLAs Measurement: Share weekly reporting back to B40 level once initiatives are live; monitoring and optimising channels based on key metrics i.e. click through rate and conversion using a wide range of reporting tools  Financial management: Administration of campaign budgets, including raising requisitions, processing invoices, vendor liaison and internal reconciliation Governance: Adhere to the highest standards of business conduct to ensure we exceed regulatory and compliance expectations Support and celebrate our inclusive culture

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to:

Help shape the acquisition strategy for SBS Gold and Platinum by identifying and proposing new ideas to grow Build on their marketing expertise across a range of channels Work on high profile, big budget campaigns to drive business growth Build relationships with many teams across American Express

Minimum Qualifications

The successful candidate will be highly professional, confident, and personable with high levels of energy, and a proactive attitude with a passion for marketing A passion for the creative and advertising world outside of Amex and curiosity into what other brands are doing in this space The individual will be proactive and able to leverage learnings and industry best practice to develop new ideas for future projects that work for our B2B audience. The role is perfect for a marketer with proven experience in multi-channel marketing campaigns and communications who wants to challenge themselves The candidate will need to be organised to work in a fast-paced environment and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines across a number of channels, prioritising effectively It is essential the candidate is a team player, able to work collaboratively with a variety of internal and external teams, as well as having the ability to drive projects forward independently, delivering high quality marketing initiatives Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Outstanding verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical and data handling skills with ability to identify key success drivers for campaigns
