Small Business Liaison Associate

We operate with unparalleled commitment to those who depend on our products and services worldwide to perform their missions.** The Small Business Liaison Associate will assist with administration of the small business subcontracting program for Oshkosh Defense. This role will report activities, maintain records, develop proposal writing, and attend trade shows to help promote the organization. **YOUR IMPACT** These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned. + Assist purchasing management team to ensure all government small business assistance programs, Public Laws, and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs) are followed. + Maintain awareness of changes in small business government regulations and provide recommendations. + Work with a cross functional team to develop proposals and subcontract plans for government solicitations. + Assist in the tracking and reporting of subcontract dollars on all contracts in the government reporting system biannually. + Ensure all documentation and certifications are on file, maintained, are current, and communicated appropriately per company procedures. + Assist with coordinating and participating in DCMA/SBA audits. + Coordinate and participate in conferences and trade shows to give visibility to our customer and to perform outreach activities. + Assist with the maintenance of the GPSC small business procedures and work instructions including program training to key stakeholders within the company. + Assist with the monthly compilation, analysis, and submission of data per company and government regulations. + Strong data management and data integrity experience preferred, utilizing software including Microsoft Excel. + Attention to detail and effective communication skills required. **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS** + Bachelor’s degree + One to three (1-3) or more years of experience in purchasing, contracts, compliance, or in a related area. + Strong verbal and written communication skills. + Familiarity with FAR, DFAR, SBA laws and regulations. + Proficiency with various web-based software applications including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc. + Ability to travel up to 25%. **STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS** + Experience with contracting and subcontracting with a Defense organization. + Certified in Federal Procurement + Knowledge and understanding of Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR). + Purchasing experience within the manufacturing industry. + Supplier diversity experience with a government contractor. + Ability to work in a team environment. + Strong organizational skills with exceptional follow through and attention to detail. + Strong time-management and prioritization skills, able to multi-task and prioritize competing requirements and meet deadlines. + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where requirements are constantly changing. \#LI-MC1 **Pay Range:** $56,600.00 - $88,400.00 The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
