**Job Title: Engine Mechanic $20-35/hr**
**Job Description**
We are looking for a skilled engine mechanic to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance on small engines, including gas and diesel engines, and conducting electrical work. This role involves inspecting equipment for damage and reporting findings to the service manager. Candidates must have their own tools.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform maintenance on small engines, including gas and diesel engines.
+ Conduct electrical work related to engine maintenance.
+ Inspect equipment for damage and report findings to the service manager.
+ Utilize personal tools for maintenance and repair tasks.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience with gas engine repair (1+ years).
+ Experience with electrical repair (1+ years).
+ Experience with diesel engine repair (6+ months).
+ High attention to detail.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Knowledge of engine repair, mechanical schematics, and wiring.
+ Ability to troubleshoot and perform engine overhauls.

**Work Environment**
The role is based in a shop environment that is clean but can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Uniforms are supplied by the company. The shift runs from 6:30 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, with the expectation of 10-hour workdays during the summer months.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, Nebraska.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00
