We are looking for the Smart Shopper Marketing Manager!

 

What’s Smart Shopper? It is our innovative retail endless aisle tool that empowers customers to explore and purchase customized, out-of-stock and non-assorted products directly from our retail network, enhancing the in-store shopping experience and driving incremental sales.

 

Reporting to the Omnichannel Conversion Acceleration Manager, the candidate will play a crucial role in evolving Smart Shopper from a static catalog into a dynamic marketing and conversion tool that meets business needs by boosting retail conversions, driving store visits and seamlessly integrating with brand strategy/marketing. The Smart Shopper Marketing Manager will lead the strategy, execution and content optimization of the tool across our retail network ensuring the enhancement of the in-store customer experience by leveraging the features of Smart Shopper and identifying tactical activities to support stores to get incremental sales by providing access to custom, non-assorted and out-of-stock items.

 

Given the broad scope, cross brands and cross countries, the candidate will work closely with many different teams, locals and in corporate such as Digital Innovation, Merchandising, Marketing, Operations and Creative Hub. Strong cross-functional collaboration and clear communication skills are required.

 

The candidate is asked to prepare and share periodic documents (weekly report and monthly performance deck) and to prepare ad-hoc presentations for weekly/monthly meeting with key stakeholders.

Proactivity in identifying improvement solutions is also required.

 

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Strategy and Optimization Define and execute the strategy for Smart Shopper to maximize its potential as a point of conversion in stores; Analyze marketing campaigns, customer behavior and sales data to continuously optimize the tool's performance and user experience; Define strategic KPIs to measure the success of Smart Shopper from a content and marketing perspective, focusing on increasing conversion rates, incremental sales and supporting retail to reach business needs positioning Smart Shopper as one of the key driver to achieve business targets;. Define ad-hoc strategies together with Marketing and Store Operations to make the tool complementary to the in-store experience; Site management: identifying actions and activities to enhance site experience and conversion. Establish and streamline a governance framework to ensure strong commitment and alignment on priorities across all stakeholders; Participate in defining future developments and improvements of the tool and contribute to the removal of obstacles to support adoption and business performance. Marketing & Communications: Marketing calendar: define and maintain the activation calendar and ensure campaigns implementation based on marketing guidelines and priorities; Homepage & structure: schedule the homepage updates and monitor the go-live; define the structure for new brands, as well as define how to display different product categories to meet business and marketing needs, leveraging a data-driven approach to drive optimization; Go-to-market template definition: guarantee cross-team alignment to ensure each campaign is fully executed on all touchpoints and across all relevant stakeholders; Partner with Marketing Directors in including Smart Shopper into the 360 marketing plan; Content Budgeting: define and manage the budget for contents needed to support the strategy.

 

Customer/Store Experience & Engagement Enhance the Smart Shopper journey by optimizing the Contents, Campaigns and Entry Points, ensuring it is intuitive, efficient and aligned with brand standards; Develop initiatives to increase customer awareness and adoption of the tool, including in-store marketing, training, and tactical activities; Leverage the tool features such as Personalized Products and embedded Digital Tools to drive differentiation in the retail experience and increase store traffic; Partner with in-store communication team to validate use cases and enhance the in-store customer journey; Best Practice Sharing & Documentation: support in creating guidelines and manuals to share best practices and tactical insights to the fields for effectively using the digital catalog, based on actual use cases and customer journey analysis. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Merchandising, Creative Hub and Supply Chain teams to ensure product availability, accurate content and alignment with brand strategies; Collaborate with IT and Digital Innovation/Product Development teams to enhance the tool's functionalities and evaluate the integration of new features based on customer feedback and market trends. Performance Analysis & Reporting: Track, analyze and report on the performance of the tool, providing actionable insights and recommendations for improvement. Weekly reporting on Sales, Mix, Analytics to support specific business needs and decision making; Analyze the content campaigns activated through Adobe Analytics to measure the impact and identify improvement areas; Perform deep dive analysis in case of tactical activation that involve Smart Shopper; Regularly set up and prepare meetings with all commercial stakeholders (Business Leaders, GM’s, Commercial, Operations) to align on targets and possible improvements

 

MAIN REQUIREMENTS:

 

Analytics: strong analytical thinking to address pain points (tools: excel, BO, SAP, Adobe analytics, Power BI) Project Management: agile method, well organized, structured approach, focus on target and deadline Digital background: as the tool is digital, an experience/interest in ecommerce is highly recommended;  Retail knowledge: a solid understanding of the retail landscape is essential for the successful management and optimization of Smart Shopper. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in retail omnichannel  or e-commerce  management, with deep understanding of the in-store customer journey and e-commerce site management , together with experience in go-to-market/marketing campaigns execution.  Proven track record in driving retail innovation and enhancing customer experience through technology. Strong Business acumen with great analytical skills; Ability to make strategic decisions and influence stakeholders translating data into actionable insights. Excellent project management skills, capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail environment Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, strong professional presence and a broad understanding of internal and external business dynamics Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel and Power Point An English and Italian fluent speaker
