Purpose of the job/key objective
Reporting to the SME Team Leader, you will be responsible for:
Managing a portfolio of SME clients;
Engaging with your brokers/clients regularly:
Service and support your brokers/clients as required;
Conduct strategic meeting on retention rate, success, challenges;
Building and maintaining relationships with brokers and internal customers.
Main duties/Responsibilities
Pro-actively manage and negotiate renewal for our book-rated portfolio by executing annual renewal strategy
Strategically manage portfolio per broker and think big picture (broker performance, Sales & Corporate relationship)
Understand Compliance requirements in the GCC and pro-actively identify any Compliance risk for your brokers/clients;
Develop and maintain strong relationships with an assigned portfolio of clients/brokers, by pro-actively engaging in regular communication by email, field based meetings, or telephone.
Conduct strategic meetings on quarterly basis with your brokers face to face – including their management - to review the retention rate, the successes and challenges.
Take the lead in day to day enquiries for assigned portfolio working with internal stakeholders to resolve in agreed timelines.
Look for growth opportunities throughout the year with existing groups
Database Management, ensuring all relevant details are recorded accurately including Salesforce which should be a minimum of 95% accuracy
Responsible of issuing the renewal proposal
Facilitate the renewal process in conjunction with the Client Management team
Account Executive Skills
Minimum of 4 years of experience in a Client Management role
Experience of mid-market insurers/policies in the Middle East preferred
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and concisely
Confident public speaker/presenter
Demonstrated ability to drive results required
Self-directed and capable of managing a portfolio of clients and projects
Maintains a positive working relationship with teammates, peers as well as external clients and brokers
Demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate
Highly motivated and organized with a flexible approach
Excellent Stakeholder Management Skills
Ability to navigate through ambiguity
Must have regional knowledge of regulations
Ability to deal with diverse cultures and have influential selling and positioning skills
Detail-oriented and able to work independently
Excellent presentation skills
