Provides assessments of technical and operational practices based on leading industry standards specific to the requested technology.  Candidate must have knowledge of HTML5 and all current web authoring tools for a consumer based website.

The Office of the State Superintendent of Education’s Office of the Chief Technology Officer is seeking a .Net SME for web based application projects. The position is for someone with experience in Front-End and Application design and development. The position will be responsible for all Technical Design Documentation and artifacts involved in the project, designing the Application Architecture of the system, co-designing and developing services for interfacing with the data layer, and developing dashboards and reports and reports customized to specific groups, roles, and users of the target system.

CONTRACT JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:

1. Provides assessments of technical and operational practices based on leading industry standards specific to the requested technology.

2. Plans, organizes, and conducts research in a variety of areas, such as new or existing products, science, social science, law or business in support of an IT initiative.

3. Searches sources such as reference works, literature, documents, newspapers, statistical records, and other sources of information. May use Internet, Intranet, magazines, periodicals, journals, and other media to perform research.

4. Analyzes information and statistical data to prepare reports and studies for use by professionals.

 

Minimum Education/Certification Requirements:     Master’s degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience.
