Job Description:

Location: South Portland, Maine

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Kit Assembler to support our surface mount line by pulling parts from stock and assembling kits for production in South Portland, ME. The ideal candidate will be able to read and understand process documentation and assembly drawings, demonstrating strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

-Pull parts from inventory to create complete kits for assembly.
-Read and interpret process documentation and assembly drawings accurately.
-Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure timely production and quality standards.
-Maintain an organized workspace and manage inventory efficiently.
-Perform quality checks on parts and kits to ensure accuracy.
-Stand for the entire shift while maintaining a high level of focus and attention to detail.

Desired Background/Skills:

-Ability to read and write in English.
-Proficient in basic math skills.
-Strong eye-hand coordination and attention to detail.
-Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment is a plus.
-Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
-Willingness to stand for long periods.

Other Information:

Compensation:
$16-$18 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Location: South Portland, ME
Shift: 7:00 AM to 3:30PM
