Job Title: SMT Operator

Job Description

This role is for an SMT Operator working in a clean room and ESD controlled environment. It is an operator role and not a hand solder role.

ResponsibilitiesLoad proper parts into SMT machine.Adjust, set-up, and operate machines when shorthanded.Perform basic programming at the machine, including selecting the program.Read and comprehend English.Willingness to work overtime when needed.Essential SkillsHigh School Diploma1-year experience in Set-up of SMT components on feedersAbility to interpret Engineering documentation & work instructionsAbility to set-up all types of feeders based on SMT set-up sheetExperience working in a manufacturing environmentExcellent communication skills (written & verbal) - Must be able to speak, read, and write EnglishStrong attention to detail, organized, and computer literateAbility to work in fast-paced environmentWork Environment

Work in a clean room environment where you will be standing for 90% of the day. You must be comfortable working under a microscope and wearing proper clean room/ESD attire. Standard attire includes comfortable flat closed-toed shoes, jeans or work pants, and a capped sleeve plain t-shirt. The position is for the 1st shift, from 6 AM to 2:30 PM.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00
