Adecco is assisting a local customer in Warwick, RI, hiring an SMT Operator to work Monday to Friday with a pay range of $20.00 - $25.00 per hour. We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail oriented SMT Operator to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of SMT processes and equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for setup, operation, and maintenance of SMT equipment, ensuring high-quality production standards are met. **Key Responsibilities:** · **Setup and Operation:** o Setup of SMT and related equipment. o Read and understand process documentation. o Produce and submit the 1st piece for approval. o Operate process equipment effectively to produce consistent high-quality output. · **Quality Control:** o Inspect own work, detect defect trends, and maintain high quality levels. o Hand placement of components. o Work closely with AOI to identify and resolve quality issues. · **Maintenance:** o Maintenance of SMT and related equipment. o Complete maintenance and process documentation. **Qualifications:** · Must be computer literate, able to type, and comfortable working with menu-driven equipment software. · Capable of working on your feet throughout the day. · Dependable and efficient with the ability to complete assignments with minimal guidance. · Knowledge of J-STD/IPC standards. · Knowledge of component identification. **Education:** · High School Diploma or equivalent. **Experience:** · 2+ years in SMT, preferably with MyData equipment. · Certified IPC Specialist and/or proven ability to meet qualifications. **Physical Demands:** · Ability to stand for long periods. **Pay Details:** $20.00 to $25.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
