Job DescriptionIf you are a motivated analog designer with skills and interests in developing analog IP blocks that will be used in most cellphones sold today, Skyworks’ mobile solutions IP team is looking for you! As a part of the Mobile Solutions Business Unit’s IP development team, you will work on analog building blocks for all of the business unit’s RFFE products. You will be designing analog and mixed signal blocks such as DACs, regulators, and sensors in a variety of SOI and bulk CMOS processes. The work involves developing, updating, and maintaining IP libraries as well as guiding and helping our design community in their integration and performance verification. In this role, you will collate requirements from various design teams and work with our systems team to define specifications for the overall business unit’s IP blocks.
Responsibilities Develop analog IP blocks to meet requirements of various product development. Generate all necessary collaterals including documentation and integration guides. Update existing IP designs to serve the needs of various design team Spend 50% of your time on direct product development of analog controllers, switched and LNAsRequired Qualifications Excellent written and verbal communication, organization, documentation, and presentation skill A positive, can-do attitude Minimum 5 years of experience in designing analog IP blocks: TIA, Bandgap, ADC, DAC, temperature sensor, LDO, and OTP fuse block designs Fluency in virtuoso design environment from schematic capture to GDSII Track record of designs that resulted in high-volume manufacturing MS and 8+ years’/PHD and 5+ years’ experience in electrical engineering or similar field Layout floor planning and design experience Verilog-A modeling Preferred Qualifications Background designing RF circuits such as LNA or PA Hands on experience using analog lab equipment Python programming Proficiency in on-chip and off-chip isolation techniques to prevent digital interference

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $126,500 - $241,700 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different base pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S. Benefits include access to healthcare benefits (including a premium-free medical plan option), a 401(k) plan and company match, an employee stock purchase plan, paid time off (including vacation, sick/wellness, parental leave), among others.
