Snack Bar Attendant

Cave Creek Golf Course is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of Snack Bar Attendant. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service for our guests.

Key Responsibilities of the Snack Bar Attendant:

Making basic cocktails & pouring draft beer
  Will need to be comfortable with using a grill, fryer, flat top at times and basic cooking such as hot dogs, brats, and burgers
  Cooking is required as part of the job
  Ensures guests are attended to in a prompt, efficient and personalized manner.
  Prepares and serves food and beverage items.
  Maintains organized and clean work area.
  Receives deliveries of product from vendors and ensures proper storage.
  Reports to department manager when supplies need to be ordered.
  Stocks and inventories products.
  Responsible for operating the snack bar.
  Responsible for serving food, beverages, beer, liquor and snacks to guests at the golf course.
  Responsible for knowing basic cocktails and golf course cocktails
  Must know proper golf etiquette; products carried and price; health regulations and liquor laws.
  Must know and practice alcohol awareness.
  Must know and practice food handling and preparation
  Must be available to work at least 1 of the nationally recognized holidays.
  Responsible for maintaining initial bank/till and customer sales made during shift.
  Responsible for providing proper change to customers.
  Responsible for completing end of shift paperwork accurately and returning initial bank and shifts sales to management.
  Stock snack bar with all necessary supplies.
  Completely wipe down snack bar area.
  Empty all trash and personal belongings at end of shift.
  Accountable for cash and check transactions.
  Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
  Performs other duties as required.
 

Minimum Qualifications of the Snack Bar Attendant:

21+ years of age or older
  High school education or it's equivalent.
  Basic math skills.
  Local health and alcohol awareness certification
  Customer service skills
  No Experience necessary but will train.
  Must be able to meet age requirement for serving alcohol and has obtained Certified Food Handler's Card.
 

Other Qualifications:

Regular and reliable attendance.
  Experience using Point of Sales (POS) systems.
  Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
  To waist height.
  Frequent bending turning, kneeling and stooping.
  Exposure to hot and cold temperatures.
  Must be able to stand for extended periods.
  Must be able to operate a golf car in a safe manner.  Normal vision and hearing ranges required.
  Must be able to fluently speak and write the English language.
