Responsibilities:
This position will report directly to the Supervisor and be responsible for visually inspecting, monitoring the filling process, and manually packing of finished product

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Follow company GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices)
Maintain and work in a safe environment
Construct cartons
Seal boxes with hand-held tape gun or put through taping machine
Stack boxes on pallets
Visually inspect and manually pack bags of product into boxes
Ensure packing requirements are met
Recognizing product quality issues
Understand the information on the lead label
Pour on rework either upstairs or in the oven room
Fill out all paperwork completely as required
Recognize and report bad product to supervisor
General housekeeping in work area
Follow all safety rules and policies
Follow all general work rules and policies
Regular attendance
Able to follow directions as required by management
Perform shut down procedures and start up procedures as directed by supervisor
All other duties as assigned by management

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM

Skills:
Ability to identify defects in product for quality purpose
Ability to communicate with coworkers and management to better the operation
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
The working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment.
