Job DescriptionWork with technical and news staff to satisfy production needs for live, taped and automated programming, under supervision of Director & Operations ManagementPlayback recorded elements from multiple ingest channels for select Pre/Post game showsRecord other events for immediate highlight turnaround in showsPrimary responsibility for live operation of multiple Ross cambots and “Furio” robotics, rooftop and POV cameras across multiple studiosLive operation includes all moves, focusing, presets and shot recalls

QualificationsBachelor’s Degree (preferably in Communications) or equivalent work experience requiredOne (1) year of related tape experience in live, multi-camera studio production preferredFamiliarity with AVID “Command” (playback), Grass Valley “Dyno” (replay) Familiarity with Ross Cambots & Furio robotics (studio)Familiarity with Telemetrics robotics (roof)Must be able to lift 25 lbs. and set / strike studio gear

Desired Characteristics:

Familiarity with NY sports a plusProficiency in iNEWS or similar newsroom software system preferredWith proper training, serve as fill-in for all other Tech 1 positions as needed (Studio Broadcast Tech, Video Shading, Jib)Excellent interpersonal & communication skills requiredMust be a collaborative team player who works well with others, in a fast paced, dynamic studio environmentAvailable to work flexible, non-traditional hours including weekends and holidays
