Support RTL-to-GDSII implementation for blocks, sub-systems, and full SoCs. Execute full turnkey SoC designs from specification-to-parts. We have an immediate opening for an SOC Design Lead and expert to join our team.
In this role you will lead development of SOCs including hands-on work and providing technical leadership and guidance to internal or third-party SOC development.
Key Qualifications:BSEE/MSEE/PHD in Electrical and/or Computer EngineeringAt least 10 years of experience in ASIC development.At least 5 years of experience either in SOC-level Architecture or SOC RTL development or as SOC Chip leadStrong in SOC system architecture knowledge with experience in High Level or Micro-architecture level development, RTL development, Design Verification, DFT, Physical Design and Tapeout managementKnowledge of High Performance Computing Architectures in Mobile, Data Center, Client/Server, Automotive and Edge computing SOCsKnowledgeable in Various Interconnect options like Arteris NOC, AMBA AXI, CXL and other similar technologiesWorking and implementation knowledge of SOC level features like DVFA/AVFS, Low Power Management and other power architecture related featuresSolid knowledge around HW/FW/SW interdependenciesKnowledge of SOC standard interfaces including (but not limited to) PCIe, DDR, HBM, MIPI CSI/DSI, SPI, I2C etc.Working and Implementation knowledge of CPU architectures such as RISCV, ARC, X86 or ARM coresWill be able to travel on occasion for short periods of time, and occasionally work on-site at customer premises as required
Preferred Experience:Has done multiple tapeouts in advanced nodes such as 16-/14-/10-/7-nmHas had direct customer interactionsExperience in designing SOC from Architecture to post-siliconExperience working in a customer centric environment with great communication skills.Ability to provide technical leadership and guidance to small teams of Micro-architects/RTL developers working on an SOCAbility to cross-functionally lead full SOC development from micro-architecture through GDS and work with partners on SW/FW and packaged parts full solutionExperience using workflow tools like git/gitlab/github is preferredThis position may include assignment to government contracts. Consequently, the ability to obtain government security clearances and/or other work clearances is preferred and will be required in the event of assignment to government contract work.The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $138,000to $206,000. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses.
