Compensation: $30 Hourly

Position Overview:

At TOCA, we are redefining the League Referee position. Our “Match Captains” are not only experts in the  rules and regulations but are key to ensuring that the TOCA Leagues experience is a step above all others. Match Captains will deliver fun and engaging experiences while promoting a safe and welcoming playing environment. A successful Match Captain needs to be passionate about soccer, outgoing, an effective communicator, and energetic. 

Responsibilities:

Guest & Player ExperienceUphold the culture and values of the TOCA brandPromote a fun, engaging, and welcoming  leagues experienceDisplay a consistent positive attitude & effortCreate an atmosphere of high energy and excitementCommunicate with players on upcoming events and other playing opportunities at TOCAHosting GamesEngaging with the players on the pitchExplain rules and regulations as needed to ensure understandingEnsure game rules and regulations are being followedAdministrative FunctionsTrack time of gamesTrack attendance of players Track game and team statisticsInspect EquipmentEnsure all equipment meets the specifications of the games being playedConduct equipment checks for all players, league needs, and fields

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum of high school soccer playing experienceExperience refereeing soccer matches or in a league setting is preferredUSSF licensing certifications is preferred
