We have an opportunity for an experienced leader to manage our expanding Social Compliance program. Our Global Social Compliance team has specific responsibilities for managing and overseeing our ethical sourcing program and expectations. Through our program we strive to ensure our suppliers comply with the TJX Vendor Code of Conduct and human rights laws and regulations. We focus our efforts on health and safety, working conditions, environment, child labor, forced labor, slavery and human trafficking, wages and hours, and prevention of discrimination and harassment. We target our principal attention and resources on these areas and new initiatives globally. This critical position requires experience with risk management, auditing, compliance/social responsibility, and factory/supplier monitoring. You will collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure TJX mitigates business risks through its social compliance factory monitoring and supplier training programs. The Social Compliance Manager will be responsible for communicating program requirements and expectations to TJX Associates, buying agents and vendors. The Manager also oversees the audit process for third party audits and industry accredited audits.
What You Will Do:
Advocate for Social Compliance while able to balance the needs of the company and its suppliers. Ensure compliance with laws/legislation related to human rights in the supply chain. Engage with cross-functional teams on forced labor due diligence and supply chain traceability actions.Build strong relationships to influence decisions both internally and externally, leads associates, agents and vendors on program requirements and expectations. Oversee the audit process to ensure required timelines are met, and ensures standards are consistent globally.Partner with suppliers to help remediate violations and develop solutions for key areas of risk. Key stakeholder and partner to IT on the development of a Social Compliance system.Manage, train, and develop small team of direct reports that reviews audit reports and determines risk assessments.Travel internationally as needed to support vendor relations and training.
Who We Are Looking For: You
8+ years of social compliance/human rights in the supply chain experience leading ethical audits or equivalent social compliance/ethical sourcing/human rights legislation and supplier training initiatives, with preferred minimum 3 years team leadership experienceBachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.Extensive knowledge of industry trends and legislation impacting human rights in the supply chain.Deep understanding of audit reports and key areas of risk related to the industry, countries, wages, forced labor, child labor, working hours, health, and safety, etc.Proven experience and in-depth knowledge of supply chain mapping, third-party factory audits (apparel and home fashion experience preferred)Experience with remediation programs for suppliers.Ability to collaborate, partner and build effective working relationships with internal and external partners in a constantly evolving environment.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, ability to communicate complex information in a clear and compelling way.Experience supporting a dynamic, large scale global matrix organization.Vendor relations experience.Experience leading and developing direct reports. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications.

This position has a starting salary range of $90,200 to $115,200 per year.
Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
This position is eligible for an annual incentive as well as long-term incentives.
