You will be the Social Impact Volunteerism Lead for the Missiles and Fire Control business area. Our team is responsible for coordinating employee volunteerism and giving efforts, making a positive impact in our communities.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Social Impact Volunteerism Lead, you will be responsible for leading the coordination of employee volunteerism and giving efforts, serving as a company representative for community outreach activities. Your responsibilities will include:
• Planning and executing employee volunteer events
• Providing hands-on support for community outreach activities
• Overseeing employee giving campaigns
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to write, edit and publish social impact content
• Managing event sponsorships and supporting internal and external communication projects

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as communications, non-profit management or public relations
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint as well as other internal programs used to track giving and volunteerism
• Effective writing, problem solving and communication skills
• Event planning, organization and execution acumen
Desired Skills:
• Keen attention to detail and ability to multitask several projects at once
• Capable of working with a wide-variety of employee population and members of local communities
• Proactive, enthusiastic, highly organized and results oriented with a strong sense of follow-up and closure

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
