What you will be doing 

We are seeking an experienced social media & Analytics Manager to join our social media team to help drive our engagement and brand awareness across our eight retail banner sites and four platforms (FB, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube). In this role, you will be an integral team member, managing the development and execution of all social media campaigns while also providing regular reporting and analytics on performance to optimize content and channel performance. You will be able to think creatively and strategically while assessing data to make objective decisions rooted in performance.  The successful candidate will need to manage a high volume of work, often with competing deadlines balancing the needs of the organization with what works best in each social platform to drive overall channel performance.  

The position will be based in one of our regional Division Offices or Corporate offices.   

 

Main responsibilities 

Develop and implement social media strategies across platforms specifically by developing creative concepts and video/stills in organic social that align to the broader content strategy & calendar  Present social concepts for approval across the team   Produce and schedule footage for in-store shoots and other organic social video captures as well as help manage large in-store shoots with our agency partners   Manage projects within our project management software Monday.com to ensure that all social assets are delivered on time to all stakeholders and platforms.    Provide regular period reporting and analysis on how social media channels and activities are performing with assessment and recommendations for optimizations each period, quarter and year.   Develop and maintain dashboards for social media metrics and reporting.  Be the expert ‘center of excellence” for divisions on social media best practices supporting local needs, ensuring divisions have visibility into national plans and helping educate the org broadly about social media best practices and how to use the channel to propel company goals most effectively.   Maintain expertise in industry trends and best practices to enhance social media efforts   Research, ideate and bring new trends and creative ideas to the organic social team for producing content ideas. 

 

The salary range is $83,000 - $108,000. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay, PTO/Vacation pay/Flexible Time Off, paid holidays (8-9 days annually) bereavement pay and retirement benefits (such as 401(k) eligibility). Associates in this position are also eligible for a quarterly bonus.

Social expert who knows what performs best in social media and stays up on the rapidly changing trends.   Organized and detailed project manager who can juggle producing content across various partners while ensuring business priorities and details are accurately captured and ultimately scheduled when and where they are intended.   Creative problem solver who can quickly formulate an idea, justify why it works for the business and action the work to get it live within the pace of social.   Objective, data oriented  Resilient under pressure, able to juggle competing priorities and stay focused amidst adversity and uncertainty.   Data oriented able to review and assess social media performance and make recommendations for ways to optimize and boost performance.   Strong visual design and creative skills to help create compelling content for social media channels   A passion for brand storytelling and social media and the willingness to learn from other marketing professionals 

 

Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field or equivalent experience  4+ years of experience in social media   Proven track record of developing successful social media content with measurable results.  Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, analytics tools, and best practices.  Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a creative mindset.  Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies.  Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.  Familiarity with retail and pace of retail
