This position is a part-time Social Media Content Creator. This position averages 20 hours per week and may require occasional travel to capture content at events.
As a Social Media Content Creator for WK Kellogg Co, you will gain valuable marketing experience working on both iconic and up and coming brands as a member of the “Platforms and Culture” team.
If you live and breathe social media and love creating content, this is the role for you! We’re looking for someone that not only creates content but has a curiosity for why things trend, who the up-and-coming influencers are, what new platforms and capabilities arise, and how content can be more engaging. You’ll spend most of your time creating content, researching the hottest trends, and finding ways in for our brands – but no day is the same!
Who will you work with directly? For starters, you will collaborate heavily with your manager, the Manager of Content and Culture. Beyond them, you will also be partnering with peers across the company, including but not limited to the Platforms and Culture team, as well as the Brand Marketing team.
HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
+ Creating Content - This is your top priority, as you’ll be our go-to content creator for several brands. You’ll be behind the camera and keyboard, embodying our brand voices and creating the most engaging content possible. You can expect to be posting anywhere from 3-5 videos per day!
+ Social Media Management – You’ll be expected to organize and publish content, respond to comments, and ideate ways to improve our presence. Tools you can work with include Sprinklr, Microsoft programs, Canva, and CapCut.
+ Performance Reporting & Social Listening – You can help our team understand what content is most engaging with our audiences as well as what the perception of our brands through social listening. We already have some dashboards and practices that we can show you once you start!
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
+ Social media content creation and management experience
+ Competent in written communication & time management
+ Curiosity behind new social platforms and capabilities
+ Comfortable and confident being behind and in front the camera
+ Basic social media design/editing skills
Salary Range: $18/hr to $25/hr
