Social Media Content Manager

As Social Media Content Manager, you’ll be responsible for developing, executing and refining social media content strategies that support the marketing goals of the company. In this role you’ll focus on creating social media content designed to build brand loyalty, drive engagement, and enhance our brand storytelling. You’ll work closely with internal and external partners to ensure all content initiatives reflect the overarching brand narrative, resonate with target audiences and reinforce key business objectives. You’ll also focus on managing social media channels, responding to comments, escalating issues and building a sense of community among followers and nonprofit partners.

About the Role

Ideate and develop strategic content frameworks for social media content that support marketing goals and reinforce brand valuesOversee the production of innovative, high-impact content that creates brand consistency, builds audience retention, and drive engagement across social channelsManage social content calendars in partnership with other members of marketing and communication team to ensure consistent output across all relevant channelsCollaborate with community partners and other stakeholders to co-develop content about investmentsBe the subject matter expert on social-first formats, approaches, posting frequency and understand deeply what works across each social platformStay informed of social media trends and innovations, continuously testing new content types or strategies that enhance engagement and provide value to target audiencesProvide regular performance reports on social content, summarizing key metrics and insights that inform future content decisionsUse data and insights to guide strategic adjustments and enhance the effectiveness of episodic content in achieving core marketing objectives

About You

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field6 years of experience in social media content strategy and content creationProven expertise in creating, executing, and scaling content across major social platformsStrong understanding of social media trends, content formats, and platform-specific best practicesExcellent project management skills with experience managing content calendars, timelines, and cross-functional collaborationStrong analytical skills with experience using social media analytics tools to measure and optimize content performance

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in social media content at enterprise level brand(s)Experience using social media management platforms (e.g. Sprout)Strong copywriting skillsExperience in video production and graphic design
