Why does this role exist? 


The digital consumer experience team based in Geneva is a growing center of excellence within the Ploom Brand Group, focused on building a modern global brand and digital consumer experiences. As such, we are seeking a creative and culturally connected Social Media and Content Manager to join our Digital Consumer Experience Team. You will beresponsible for the global social media guidelines definition and for supporting and monitoring local implementation as well as supporting both global and local content creation. You will embed yourself within our Digital Consumer Experience team, learning the Ploom brand from the inside out, and constantly thinking of ways to connect it to our target audience through relevant and engaging culture-first content, delivered through our social media channels and beyond. 


 What will you actually do?


You will constantly have your eye on the next big thing in online and social media culture, identifying emerging cultural trends, platforms and leading the effort to create culturally relevant content, both on your own and in partnership with our network of content creators and producers, as well monitor and measure the plans and the execution across our content work streams, making sure that the delivery plans are on strategy and on trend and executed through the day-to-day management of our social media channels. You will be seen as the go-to resource for anything social, culture & content, bringing the latest and greatest opportunities, trends, and ideas to the broader Ploom Brand Group. The role will be key in both optimizing our performance across our social media channels by managing the global social media marketing platform and using it to manage content, test different tactics and drive a globally consistent approach


Key Responsibilities: 

 

In this role, you will: 

 

work as a social media marketing expert within the existing digital consumer experience team define and translate brand requirements into social objectives and activities with the broader team, manage the content calendar and global platform in order to track comprehensive weekly and monthly reporting to inform strategy and future content decisions measure, report and advise internal stakeholders into social media effectiveness, including performance, format, scheduling, and audience to ensure the most effective approach to achieving our strategic goals analyze social media metrics and use data to continually improve our social media and content strategy  work to agreed metrics and targets, delivering them in conjunction with teams across Audiences ensuring robust evaluation to improve performance

 

 

Skills & Experience: 

 

 

Graduate degree of equivalent vocational training in marketing / digital / social  7+ years of proven work experience in Social Media Management / Social Content Development   Experience in defining and managing social media marketing efforts and global platforms  Experience in creating multi-channel digital and social campaigns (either stand alone or as part of an ATL campaign), including creating, shooting and editing content Strong experience in creating messaging and positioning for products and brands, and translating them into effective and impactful campaigns Experience using generative AI tools in the content creation process Proven ability to manage complex projects and market requirements Excellent English language skill is a must, French is beneficial Excellent understanding of marketing technology and tools
