Candidate will have the opportunity to further develop their creativity and communication talent to successfully promote the social media for the Cleone Peterson Eccles Alumni House – a rental venue on campus. **Responsibilities** + Help achieve the Eccles Alumni House goals for social media and virtual engagement. + Plan and publish posts for Instagram and Facebook – including writing captions, creating graphics, and shooting/editing photos and videos + Propose messaging and campaign ideas, working closely with the Alumni House Team + Track social analytics and compile reports + Shoot and edit marketing and promotional videos for a variety of different styles of events **Minimum Qualifications** + **Current University of Utah student** pursuing a degree in graphic design, communications, marketing, or a related area + Demonstrable skills and history with social media, particularly YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter + Familiarity with Microsoft software, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams + Effective organizational and communication skills + Outstanding people skills and experience collaborating and working with a team + Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Hootsuite is preferred. **Preferences** **Special Instructions Summary** **Additional Information** The University is a participating employer with Utah Retirement Systems (“URS”).
