Copeland is seeking an experienced Social Media Lead to execute a social media strategy and manage the influencer relations program. This role will help to elevate Copeland’s brand narrative, product innovation and community engagement and activation across the corporate brand social channels and blogs, and through our partnership with key social media influencers. The Social Media Lead will drive the development of the social media editorial calendar, support social customer care, social campaign content development, blog content development and site administration, and influencer program administration.

As a Social Media Lead, You Will:

Content Management and DeploymentLead development of social editorial calendar aligned to the corporate narrative and defined omni-channel strategy.Collaborate with external communication team, business units, human relations and other functional teams to define/manage social content.Write effective, concise and engaging copy for multiple social networks, recruitment sites, and blogs.Work collaboratively with Content Specialist, External Communications to pair dynamic creative approach with strategic copy.Maintain quality control to ensure all content incorporates the narrative and complies with brand standards, meets channel specifications, is error-free and consistent in style/messaging.Responsible for scheduling, tagging and confirming publication of approved organic content using the corporate SRM tool.Collaborate with internal communications team on employee engagement and promote advocacy.Engagement and Customer Care:Resolve customer issues and inquiries on social channels.Identify opportunities to engage with target audience in the social space.Leverage social listening tool to monitor brand conversations and report key insights.Influencer RelationsLead influencer relations program for the Americas.Manage monthly alignment calls with business teams and educational services providers/trainers.Coordinate marketing brief development with business leads.Serve as primary liaison with paid influencers on marketing briefs, contract. .negotiations and other questions/issues as needed.KPI Development and Measurement:Partner with cross-functional teams to define KPIs aligned to strategic business. goals. Continuously monitor and measure the effectiveness and impact of social media/influencer communications initiatives.Best Practices and GovernanceStay current on social media and influencer relations trends and tactics.Maintain the highest level of knowledge and understanding of new and emerging social platforms, staying informed of changes and future roadmap opportunities.Audit Copeland endorsed brand channels and recruitment sites for strategy and content compliance.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing or a related field.  5+ years of progressive experience in social media, influencer relations, or corporate communication with demonstrable experience in social media content planning, publishing, writing and content creation.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, paid partners, and external agency partners.Strong proficiency in social relationship management tools (Hootsuite, etc.) and analytics platforms. Experience working with tracking elements, insight tags, UTM parameters, etc.Detail-oriented, proactive, organized, and able to withstand pressure and urgent deadlines. Exceptional time management skills including the ability to handle multiple requests with changing priorities.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with experience in storytelling, speechwriting, and content development for social and blog platforms.
