Social Media Local Marketing Specialist

Good Times Restaurants, Inc. owns, operates, franchises, and/or licenses Good Times Burgers and Frozen Custard and Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar. Good Times Burgers currently has 31 operating locations homegrown in Colorado. Bad Daddy’s currently has 40 locations throughout Colorado, Oklahoma, and all over the Southeast.  

Our company is made up of a group of folks who really balance getting their work done with some good laughs and comradery in between and we are looking to grow our support center to add a Social Media Local Marketing Specialist to the team! 


So what does the job of a Social Media Local Marketing Specialist look like? 

You will have an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of crafting and launching dynamic marketing campaigns for two unique restaurant concepts. Immerse yourself in the latest market trends and developments, discovering innovative product and service opportunities to elevate our brand presence. Collaborate with operations to empower our team with social media skills, spearhead thrilling promotional activities across North Carolina, and connect with our community by engaging with guest comments. You'll manage vibrant social media accounts and content calendars, create captivating content through photo shoots and events, and build strong customer loyalty platforms. Job Duties 

Participate in the creation of marketing campaigns and strategies for 2 restaurant concepts. Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in the market; identifies needs for new products and services and communicates to Digital Marketing Manager. Work with operations to train on social media platforms and the proper way to post store-specific content and use our review response platforms. Coordinates and participates in promotional activities primarily in the North Carolina area and assists in other trade areas as needed. Maintaining social media accounts for Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar and assisting with Good Times. Create and maintain customer loyalty platforms both national and local content. Review the Marketing Calendar and update the Digital Marketing Manager on any potential promotion ideas. Maintain and respond to any inquiries from operations regarding marketing questions or needs. Performs other duties as assigned.  

Minimum Qualifications 

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work-related experience.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong supervisory and leadership skills. Ability to create, implement, and monitor budgets. Can demonstrate a creative and thorough understanding of marketing principles and methods to promote both restaurant concepts. A willingness to always learn new marketing tactics and participate in further learning activities. 

Physical requirements 

Mobility and Flexibility: Ability to move around various locations to participate in and coordinate promotional activities, events, and off-site photo shoots. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Manual Dexterity: Proficiency in using computers, tablets, and other digital devices to create content, manage social media accounts, and update marketing materials. Stamina: Capability to work long hours during events, promotions, and while traveling between locations in North Carolina and other areas as needed. Visual Acuity: Ability to create and evaluate visual content, ensuring high-quality media production for social media and marketing materials. Communication: Capacity to communicate effectively in person and through digital platforms, engaging with team members, guests, and community members. Travel Readiness: Willingness and ability to travel locally and regionally for marketing activities and events.
