The position: We are looking for a Social Media Manager to support our various properties in their organic social media efforts. Your responsibilities will include planning, implementing and monitoring social media strategy for multiple properties to increase brand awareness, promote listings, generate leads, track online marketing trends, collect and analyze data, and develop campaign strategies. 

Responsibilities

Oversee the planning, strategizing, and scheduling of content for multiple property social accounts (across several social media platforms – e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Google) that align with operational goals and brand voice.

Create and curate visually appealing content, such as property photos and videos to promote amenities and lifestyle on various social media platforms.

Write fun, engaging copy and captions that align with each property’s unique brand and voice. 

Collaborate with Operations, Onsite teams, and Marketing teams to ensure consistency in branding and messaging.

Work cross-functionally with our Corporate Marketing team to promote corporate initiatives, campaigns, and messages via our property social accounts. 

Monitor social media metrics and adjust strategy accordingly to optimize engagement and lead generation.

Stay up to date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications. 

Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers involved in social media activities, including scheduling meetings, reviewing deliverables, and ensuring alignment with company objectives.

Develop comprehensive resources and materials to support social media efforts, including best practice guides, training modules, and communication templates.

Acquire in-depth knowledge of Meta Business Suite, encompassing its tools and features for overseeing Facebook Pages and Instagram profiles.

Collaboration with the Reputation Management Team on cross-over initiatives and campaign planning, strategizing, execution and analysis. 

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing, or related field.

Proven experience as a social media manager or similar, preferably in the multifamily/real estate industry.

Ability to quickly adopt multiple brand voices and aesthetics through visual elements and written components. 

Experience managing multiple social media accounts for multiple brands at once.

Understanding of digital marketing metrics. 

Experience with design tools like Canva or Adobe Photoshop. 

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask. 

Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

Physical Requirements:

May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of timeMust be able to read documents, computer screens and dataMust be able to hear and understand verbal communications in person and over the phone or computerMay occasionally be required to lift or carry items such as files or office supplies weighing up to 15 poundsMust be able to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse and other office equipment

Work Environment:

This is a hybrid role, requiring the associate to work in one of our corporate or regional offices 3 days per week.The office is an open setting which may include bright lights, constant noises and distractions.
