Our client is searching for a Social Media Manager/ Specialist The ideal candidate would be one with experience in online and interactive social media marketing as well as experience of the digital and social media industries and of paid social operations
Duties and Responsibilities
Lead implementation and management of paid social advertising campaigns
Ensure proper campaign setup to track properly and other paid social buying platforms as necessary primarily Facebook Power Editor and Twitter Ads Manager
Manage the daily campaign optimisation efforts of assigned accounts to ensure they are achieving the traffic engagement and conversion goals set for each campaign
Manage daily budget tracking process to make sure predefined spending levels are on pace
Manage bid rules and optimisation efforts at the campaign audience and ad levels to drive account performance
Review regular reporting to add insights and provide commentary to explain variations
Collaborate with management team members and social outlets to define policies processes and procedures to further drive efficiencies and performance for key stakeholders
Keep current on the social media advertising industry and propose new ideas to further enhance campaign tactics and capabilities
Marketing/Client Services/ Sales
Developing strong relationships with clients achieving a full understanding of their media objectives and strategies
Managing high level commercial relationships
Identifying opportunities for client growth
Upselling new automation and media features and drafting proposals to assist with clients developing business needs
Solutionbased selling automation deployments often require nonstandard solutions which can be fulfilled by either building bespoke systems or integrating with thirdparty platforms
Work crossfunctionally with automation software sales and development teams to drive company revenue and increase client satisfaction
Revenue management nurturing client relationships for the mutual benefit of software and the client
Requirements
Degree or Diploma in Marketing or Social Media or similar qualification
Must have a minimum of 2 years online and interactive social media marketing experience and a thorough working knowledge of Facebook and Twitter advertising interfaces
It would be an advantage to be familiar with Pinterest Snapchat and Instagram
Minimum of 2 years experience in a performance and results driven role growing and developing client accounts
Previous experience in a media client services sales or marketing role preferred
Proven track record of delivering high growth within a portfolio of selfmanaged clients
Must have excellent consulting/communication writing editing Photo/ Video/ Text presentation experience
Experience of the digital and social media industries and of paid social operations
Strong verbal written and analytical skills
Passionate about the media industry
Experience in meeting with and presenting to external clients of various operational levels
The ability to approach challenging topics of client conversations with a calculated and measured approach
Suitable to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment
Experience in managing and scaling large budgets is a plus
High proficiency with Microsoft Excel
A second language is considered advantageous
Willingness to travel as required
Able to work independently and show initiative
