Social Media Specialist - Hybrid

We’re looking for an amazing Specialist, Social Media to fill this hybrid role which is based out of our Seattle office. In this critical role on Holland America Line’s paid media team, you’ll support our Paid Social efforts, working through current social trends and creative best practices, to ensure best performing tactics and placements are driving effective performance. You’ll drive day-to-day channel operations while assisting in the development of paid media’s long-term strategy. Here’s a summary of what Holland America Line is looking for in its Specialist, Social Media. Is this you? **Responsibilities** + Lead planning, activation, and management of digital media campaigns with an emphasis on paid social, brand and performance outcomes. + Manage the development, presentation, and maintenance of social media strategies and programs, including programmatic buying. + Build strategic action plans and optimize paid social strategies and generate lift in brand awareness, booking volume, or leads. + Assists in social media analytics, including working closely with partners to guarantee delivery, optimize campaigns and implement key-learnings. + Provide leadership across social media tools – audience targeting, buying platforms, designed for algorithmic buying. + Manage the execution of digital media strategies and tactics, specifically paid social. + Serve as a leader and contributor to the role and evolution of social media at Holland America Line and help to articulate and the value of social to internal teams and leadership. + Additional duties as assigned. **Requirements** + Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications and/or a related field. + 2+ years of Media or Marketing experience. + 1+ years hands-on experience advertising on Meta. + Familiarity with other social ad platforms and technologies preferred (Reddit, YouTube, TikTok). + Knowledge of the media landscape and the latest trends in media, how customers consume media as well as an understanding of an ideal online customer experience. + Experience in end-to-end campaign launches, collaborating with internal teams and driving social and content syndication decisions. + Strong experience with social channels across media channels and creative testing, including A/B testing scenarios. + Strong organizational skills across paid media tactics, including targeting platforms as well as bid management processes and influence of algorithms. + Experience driving innovative media testing opportunities, such as Alpha and Beta pilot programs. + Experience working directly with ad servers for campaign setup, ad trafficking, paid media performance reports. + Ability to manage and provide direction to internal teams regarding floodlight tagging for existing and new web pages. + Ability to understand and identify correlational patterns in digital media from aggregate data sources, trends, and studies. + Ability to articulate changes in KPI measurements and corresponding optimizations that would improve media effectiveness and/or cost efficiency. + Engaging and collaborative work style. **Please note that this is a hybrid position based in Seattle, WA. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired.
