This is a grant-funded position and reassignment will be based upon performance, progress toward research goals and continuation of funding. Some travel within the state of Texas required. Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer without sponsorship.
Purpose
The position will perform research-related activities to support state evaluation projects focused on mental health best practices for children, youth and young adults. The project will work to design evaluation plans, conduct surveys and focus groups, conduct chart reviews to measure fidelity, analyze data, and write reports or publications.
Responsibilities
Formulate data collection and reporting plans as required by funding sponsors.Maintain strong, positive relationships with project partners to support collaborative research. Participate in project meetings and workgroups to support project activities.Conduct site reviews to assess organizational alignment with best practices, such as conducting key stakeholder interviews and chart reviews.Oversee and conduct interviews of youth, families or service providers to gather data on service quality and outcomes.Manage project-related data submission, collection and cleaning. Prepare regular evaluation, research reports or data visualizations for agency feedback and project reporting. Prepare publications and presentations to advance the research field.Required QualificationsMaster's Degree in social work, public health, psychology, or other related field with at least 6 years of experience in multi-site health services evaluation planning, implementation, data management, analysis, and reporting. Proficient with statistical analysis software. Experience with online survey administrators (e.g., Qualtrics or REDCap) and conducting interviews. Excellent attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Values the contributions of others in the work environment. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Preferred QualificationsDoctoral Degree in social work, public health, psychology, or related field with at least 4 years of related experience. Experience with data analysis of large datasets. Clinical or research experience in mental health field. Experience conducting multi-site evaluation studies. Bilingual in Spanish.
Salary Range$65,000 - $75,000 - depending on qualifications
