Social Services Clinician MSW - Alaska Medical Center *Per Diem*

The Social Services Clinician MSW provides services to patients and their families/caregivers to meet their social and emotional needs as they relate to their medical diagnoses and concerns. They collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure that patients receive treatment, recovery, and safe and coordinated transition from one care environment to another.

Hours: Per Diem, 0.01 FTE, Variable Shift, Hours Per Week are as needed

Required qualifications:

Master's Degree as a Social Worker from an accredited School of Social Work.

Preferred qualifications:

Certification in Oncology Social Work (OSW) in Oncology Setting American Case Management Certification (ACM) 2 years of Medical Social Work experience.  Experience with computerized documentation and medical records is preferred at the time of hire.
