The position is located in our Crisis Response Unit (CRU). CRU is responsible for adult and child mental health crisis response along with after-hours emergency social service, adult protection emergency response services (EPS), and child protection response. The unit is staffed 24/7 - weekends, evenings and holidays. This position requires a strong focus on ensuring that all services are consistent with current State and Federal statutes governing the provision of Child Protection, EPS, and Mobile Crisis Response Services. It will also have a strong focus on compliance monitoring, staff scheduling, management of data and collaboration with internal and external partners. This position requires a bachelor's degree or above in Social Work or related field along with five years of full-time professional work experience as stated in the minimum qualifications section. Also, it will supervise CRU services provided during the daytime shift (8am-4:30pm), there is flexibility of teleworking but also will require regularly scheduled hours in the office three days per week. DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE: + Work experience in a supervisory or lead role working within a Government Agency + Strong working knowledge of programs used for documentation and record keeping (SSIS, Case Works, TEAMS) + Work experience with Adult Mental Health/Substance Use Disorders (SUD) within a County or community setting + Experience in oversight of diverse shifts and staffing patterns SELECTION TECHNIQUE : Your training and experience will be rated based on the required application material submitted and the top scoring candidates will be forwarded to the hiring department for further consideration. Work may be assigned within different community service areas and have differing missions and goals. EMPLOYMENT CRITERIA MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or related field (public administration, public health, community health, environmental health, nursing, behavioral science etc.) and five years of full-time professional work experience in a public human services/public health agency and/or a private human services/public health agency that contracts services with a public agency, or equivalent. A Master's Degree in Social Work or related field may substitute for up to one year of required Social Worker experience.
