SUMMARY OF JOB Assists in meeting the psychosocial needs of patients/families and enables patients to utilize health care in order to achieve their optimal level of health. RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS Master's degree from an accredited school of social work. Current NJ license required 1-2 years Post graduate degree, experience n a health care setting, (hospital/home care preferred). Flexible, sound judgment, customer oriented, organized, keeps professional demeanor at all times. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Available to work flexible hours, with weekends and holidays included. Knowledge of general disease process. Knowledge of family dynamics and interpersonal relationships. Member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers, signifying two years of practice under qualified supervision preferred. Able to travel to patient's home within service area.
