40Summary:
This Social Worker (LMSW or LCSW) will provide behavioral health services to children and families at our Neighborhood Clinic and by phone to determine the appropriate level of care and treatment. Services will include performing intake assessments, providing supportive counseling, crisis intervention, case management, and resource procurement that aids the family's effort in caring for their child. The social worker will work with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals and collaborate with behavioral health therapists to support behavioral services within the NHCs.
Required Education / Licensure / Experience:
Master's degree in social work (MSW).
3 years of social work experience.
Current Texas License as LMSW or LCSW.
Strong relationship-building skills.
Effective interpersonal communication.
Adept at working in a dynamic team environment.
Critical thinking, problem-solving, and self-motivation.
Ability to plan and organize effectively.
Proficient in the use of computer applications.
Preferred Experience:
Prior experience providing behavioral health services to children and families.
Experience working in a healthcare setting or clinic.
Bilingual (English and Spanish).
