A Child's Place at Unity House of Troy has a rare opportunity for a Social Worker to join our hard-working staff. $750 sign on bonus Salary posted is for LCSW/ Fully Licensed $54,873 - $57,368 Limited Permit $51,360.40 Responsibilities: + Provide social work services to families. + Facilitate student's progress towards individual goals. + Provide individual counseling to students as directed by their IEP or ISPF. + Work collaboratively with all staff to ensure families and children receive appropriate services. + Work to develop and maintain relationships with community partners to assist families in need. + Work in classrooms to promote and assist in the facilitation of social emotional development + Promote an environment of belonging and inclusion Requirements: Master's degree from an accredited school of Social Work. Must have and maintain valid LMSW or LCSW New York State licensure or temporary permit. Experience: 2 to 4 years related experience is preferred but not mandatory. Experience working with low income families and young children with special needs would be helpful. Must have reliable transportation and a valid New York State Driver License. Consideration to entry level Social Worker will be given.
