Schedule: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
AnthroMed Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our team in McHenry, IL and provide essential social-emotional support to students in grades K-5. The ideal candidate will have experience working with elementary-aged children, an understanding of social work practices, and a passion for fostering positive, supportive learning environments. This full-time, onsite position will involve working closely with students, staff, and families to address a range of social and emotional needs and contribute to the success of the school’s multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS).
Caseload & Responsibilities:Serve a student population of approximately 200 students in grades K-5.Provide direct support to students with emotional and behavioral needs, including 13 students with IEP minutes.Facilitate informal small group sessions and provide individualized support as part of the MTSS framework.Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to support students in classrooms and provide social-emotional learning (SEL) interventions.Assist with crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and behavioral management.Develop and implement behavior intervention plans and provide guidance for students with significant emotional needs.Conduct regular check-ins with students and families to monitor progress and well-being.Participate in school-wide initiatives to enhance the overall climate and culture.Provide consultation to parents and staff regarding student social-emotional challenges.

Qualifications:Master's degree in Social Work Valid Illinois State Professional Educator License (PEL) Valid IDFPR License
