Summary Provides skilled individual, group and family therapy techniques. Is a member of a multidisciplinary team working together to assist patients in achieving maximum benefits of treatment. Reports to Senior Life Solutions Director. Performs other duties as assigned. Responsibilities + Counsels patients in group sessions to assist them in dealing with mental health issues. + Provides supportive counseling to individuals, families and groups to address identifies concerns and to enhance understanding of, coping with, and adjustments to illness. + Maintains current knowledge of and accessibility to community resources, placement facilities, and financial agencies to meet patient and family needs. + Collaborates with healthcare team members by sharing pertinent information to develop a comprehensive and appropriate plan for patients and families. + Complies with policies that support patients fundamental rights to considerate care, protect their personal dignity and respect their cultural psychosocial and spiritual values in an effort to meet patients needs and preferences. + Completes assigned goals. Requirements, Preferences and Experience Education Minimum: MS--must be licensed--LMSW or LPC Experience Preferred: 3 years of experience n clinical social work Minimum: 1 year experience in a medial/clinical setting Licensure, Registration, Certification Preferred: LMSW;LCSW Minimum: LMSW;LPC Special Skills Minimum: Advanced communication, Conflict management, organizational and planning skills.
