Job Overview:

The Licensed Social Worker acts as a support system for people with drug and alcohol/mental health disorders and their behavioral health issues and maintains a case load that includes PH, IOP and OP levels of care. The LSW completes intakes, facilitate groups and individual/family psychotherapy.

Qualifications:

Required:

Master's degree in Social WorkAll new hires who are in recovery must attest to having one year of sobriety and abstinenceAll new hires are required to sign an Affidavit of RecoveryMust comply with TRMC paid state level criminal history record background check supported by fingerprint check prior to hire

Preferred:

At least one year experience as a LSW Knowledge of ASAM criteria and NJSAMS

Certifications and Licenses Required:

NJ Licensed Social Worker or NJ Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Scheduling Requirements:

Shift working, 8-4pm (W-F) and 1-9pm (M, T, TH) or a 4 day work week with Fridays offFT

Essential Functions:

Teaching individuals how to modify behaviorsAssessments including intake, identifying issues and creating goals and individualized Treatment PlansAssisting with case managementLeading group therapy sessionsProviding outreach and progress reports to referring agenciesReferring patients to support groupsSetting up an after care planObtaining authorizations from Medicaid, insurances and other referral sourcesOther duties as assigned
