Responsibilities Responsible for providing direct social work services to patients and families. Requires knowledge of developmental stages as services can be and are provided to infant, child, adolescent, adult and geriatrics populations. Requires knowledge of cultural influences in response to illness as there is cultural diversity in the population served. Promotes professional and ethical philosophy consistent with the hospital's mission statement and the National Society of Social Workers code of ethics. Qualifications Master’s Degree in Social Work License to practice Social Work in the State of NJ (LMSW) Minimum 2 years experience in a hospital setting
