This position is responsible for providing services to hospice clients, families, and caregivers, addressing a wide range of psychosocial issues related to end-of-life needs including: adjustment to illness/prognosis, care system issues, community resource issues, insurance/financial issues, legal/ethical issues, and end-of-life planning.  The MSW develops and implements a plan of care in collaboration with the Hospice Interdisciplinary Team.

Required Qualifications: 

Master's Degree - In Social Work from an accredited School of Social Work. Washington Advanced Social Worker License upon hire or,  Washington Advanced Social Worker Associate License upon hire or,   Washington Clinical Independent Social Worker License upon hire or,  Washington Clinical Independent Social Worker Associate License upon hire.  1 year - Health care setting.

Preferred Qualifications: 

2 years - Health care setting. Hospice care setting.
