Social Worker or Counselor, The Center for Eating Disorders – Towson, MD ($5,000 sign-on bonus)

The Center for Eating Disorders at Sheppard Pratt offers comprehensive, individualized care for adolescents and adults with complex eating disorders.

What to expect.

You will provide compassionate care to individuals 12+ with complex eating disorders. You will have an opportunity to collaborate with a team of highly trained professionals to support our patients as they navigate their journey towards recovery.

Specific responsibilities will include:

Providing comprehensive clinical social work services in collaboration with primary therapist and treatment team. Providing individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Conducting patient and family interviews to identify psychosocial issues, create treatment plans, and continuously assess and track patient progress. Creating and supporting the execution of discharge and aftercare plans.

*LMSW candidates are expected to obtain their LCSW-C license within 3 years of accepting this role. As a part of your benefits package, Sheppard Pratt will provide a board-approved supervisor to oversee your clinical supervision hours at no cost to you.

What we need from you.

Must possess one of the following Maryland licenses at time of hire: Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) Licensed Certified Social Worker – Clinical (LCSW-C) Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)

Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited to, license and years and level of related experience. The pay range for this position is $61k - $88k.
