The Thought Disorders Unit is designed to provide crisis stabilization for individuals with psychosis. Our team’s goal is to move patients to a less-intensive level of care as soon as is safe to do so.
What to expect.
You will provide compassionate care, conducting psychosocial assessments, delivering individual and group therapy sessions, and collaborating with treatment teams to ensure the highest quality of care for our patients.
Specific responsibilities will include:
Providing individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Offering supportive counseling and monitoring progress towards treatment goals. Collaborating with treatment team members to communicate patient progress and contribute to treatment planning and aftercare planning processes. Participating in family meetings and collaborative care sessions as needed to support holistic patient care.*LMSW candidates are expected to obtain their LCSW-C license within 3 years of accepting this role.
