**Job Summary and Qualifications**
As a Social Worker in our Behavioral Health Center you will be joining a team that has a passion for creating positive patient interactions and a dedication to caring for the multi-faceted wellness of those we serve. In this role you will:
+ Intervene with patients who have complex psychosocial needs, require assistance with eligibility determination for social programs and funding sources, and qualify for community assistance from a variety of special funds and agencies.
+ Offer crisis intervention to patients and families with psychosocial needs and coordinate the development of a discharge plan of care for high-risk patient populations.
+ Receive referrals for individuals from at-risk populations from interdisciplinary team members.
+ Perform intake assessments for patients with serious mental illness and substance use disorders.
+ Assess for suicidal and homicidal ideations, psychosis, and other mental disorders and make appropriate referrals as needed.
+ Meet with patients in individual counseling sessions as well as conduct psychotherapy process groups.
**What qualifications you will need:**
Current Idaho State licensure in one of the following:
+ Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
+ Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)
+ Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
+ Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW)
+ Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
+ Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT)Minimum education (any of the following):
+ Master of Social Work
+ Master of Counseling
+ Master of Marriage and Family Counseling
+ Mental health and/or substance use treatment experience preferred.
+ Willingness to be supervised toward goal of pursuing advanced clinical license (if applicable).
