The Opportunity:
As a CACI SOF Communications Technician in support of Sensitive Activities, you will support the Department of Defense and its efforts to identify and neutralize enemy threat networks capable of employing improvised threats, and other improvised weapons of strategic effect. The SOF Communications Technician will lead technical research and development, integration, and sustainment of unique and sensitive programs and initiatives in support of CCMDs, JTFs, DoD elements, and other non-DOD agencies and provide technical subject matter expertise to bridge the gap between operations, material solutions, and capability providers.
Responsibilities:
You will provide technical support to sensitive activities advisors embedded with Combatant Commands at all echelons on effectively leveraging specially compartmented material and non-material capabilities to eliminate or neutralize improvised threats and the networks that employ those threats.
You will provide the technical subject matter expertise to DTRA, Combatant Commands, and JTFs while maintaining situational awareness of Special Programs, STO, ACCM, and sensitive activity plans, operations, units, and friendly and adversary capabilities.
You will be employing emerging technologies to have a strategic advantage over our adversaries

Required:
Current Top Secret/Specialized Compartmented Information Security Clearance, willingness to submit to a CI Poly.Former SOF Communications Technician (i.e.. 18E, 25B, 25U, or 94 series with significant SOF experienceMore than three years of exposure to specialized military or IC compartmented or sensitive activities (IJSTO, SAP, ACCM, etc.).You must possess the ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing and experience drafting technical reports on program execution.You will be able to provide daily feedback to the team lead and supported unit on product development.Willing to work rotating shifts if neededNine years of relevant experience or 7 years with an associate’s degree or 3 years’ experience with Technical Bachelor’s degreeMust be able to work independently with some government oversight and function effectively as part of a team in a jointDesired:
Masters level education in an engineering specialty, especially Systems Engineering.More than three years of experience supporting SOF, SMU, Special or Technical Units of Federal or State Law Enforcement.Experience and in-depth knowledge of the Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP), to include mission analysis, COA decision and CONOP approval briefings, D3A execution matrices, CONOP documents and FRAGOs.Working knowledge of conventional and unconventional/improvised threats.Working knowledge of robotics and unmanned vehicles.Experience and exposure to the DOD rapid acquisition and fielding process and operational testing.Must be able to work independently with some government oversight and function effectively as part of a team in a jointPractical understanding of coding and prototypingPrevious experience supporting JCU, WHCA, or SMU-______________________________________________________________________________
