HOW THE SOFTWARE ARCHITECT WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Serves as the lead technical resource providing strategic oversight and planning for applications architecture and design and assigns resources to development projects.Coordinates the development of new software system applications.Provides technical expertise in software architecture; document and design software specifications for software engineers/developersProduces software prototypes to demonstrate application of design.Analyzes, defines, and documents requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environment, and network connectivity, other systems interfaces, internal and external checks and controls, and outputs.Leads development of system prototypes to demonstrate application of design principles.Assigns technical experts for all major projects, and associated reviewsMonitors trends in system architecture and software development and engineering.Recommends training in software development technologies.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: BA/BS (or equivalent experience)Required Experience: 15+ years of relevant experienceRequired Technical Skills:Proficient in IDEs, programming languages, Git, Jenkins, ConfluenceDesired Certifications:Cloud Architect or Developer certificationsSecurity Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/ PolygraphLocation: Herndon, VA - Customer Site
