You will take part in the design, implementation and testing of the Nokia NDAC product.

NDAC is a key element of Nokia's high-performance private wireless network solution that allows Nokia customers to benefit from real-time business critical applications and local edge computing for smart manufacturing, predictive maintenance and remote operations. In NDAC we develop key components for 4G and 5G networks designed for private enterprises and the public sector wireless (cellular) networks.

As a member of our team, you will develop micro services for the private sector mobile operators. Develop new functionalities and features, maintain and update existing software, root-cause and fix defects, perform component testing, integrate the SW with other features/components, create/update documentation. Take part in software design discussion and code review meetings.

B.Sc. or M.Sc. equivalent qualification in one of computer science, mathematics, physics, electrical engineering or an relevant work experience. Strong C++ software development experience Experience in microservice SW development (kubernetes) - understanding the concepts Soft skills (problem-solving attitude, self-sufficient, collaboration, team work, international team communication, etc.) Good command of English

It would be nice if you also had:

System scaling design experience. Web development (JS) Virtualization (docker, k8s) Scripts languages skills (Shell, Python, etc.) Knowledge of telecommunication protocols 3GPP LTE, LTE-Advanced, 5G standards awareness Knowledge of Agile development process

 

Solves complex problems based on sophisticated analytical thought and complex judgment. Often leads functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk and complexity. Analyses, designs, develops and tests products / services / improvements / bug resolutions for integrated software systems as per customers' requirements. Manages technical requirements from customers’ needs. Delivers SW build-controlled productions releases (EG main and update releases, service packages, maintenance updates). Manages product software evolutions through the creation and release of software documentation, software change control management, customer notifications. Retains technical and design knowledge for assigned products and technologies.
