This role is focused on client-side software asset management (SAM), not hardware asset management or user licensing. Responsibilities: * Analyze complex software contracts, purchase histories, and licensing agreements to identify inconsistencies and errors * Conduct deep data analysis to uncover discrepancies in large datasets and provide actionable insights * Engage with stakeholders to understand how software assets are utilized across the organization * Collaborate with various teams to source relevant data and piece together a complete picture of software usage * Challenge vendors on licensing agreements and contract terms, ensuring compliance and cost efficiency * Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership with data-backed justifications * Drive process improvements for software asset management, ensuring a more structured and optimized approach
