We are looking for a Software Integration Engineer to work within our Autonomous Truck Group to help verify the truck build and maintain the software versions of the ECUs. You will be working with a prototype fleet of autonomous semi-trucks and will lead the build of these vehicles.
Job Description:
Maintain vehicle software according to product Validation Autonomous Group requirementsPerform procedural root cause analysis of any issues seen in the truckAble to get the data log from the truck and parse through the same to understand the triggers that could have potentially triggered the faultWork with different teams (Mechatronics and/or software team) to resolve the issue seenFunctions as the point person for multiple trucks during drive testingCreates and updates the Troubleshooting guide based on root cause analysis activities in resolving issues from both integration and testing failuresProvides lessons learned where necessary to suggest improvement ideas to the help future operationsCollect and provide metrics needed to track the effectiveness of the trucks
Preferred Experience:
1+ years of System Engineering (including system integration and testing) experience with Automotive ECUs1+ years of total Automotive Software experience (including calibration development, controls development, test case development etc)Hands-on vehicle troubleshooting support including acquiring and parsing CAN logs from vehicles, fault analysis based on DTCs set or indicator lights seen, troubleshooting based on incident reporting of driversBachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics, or equivalent1+ years’ experience in Automotive System and/or Software Development/TestingKnowledge in creating test scripts and configurations in CAN tools (CANalyzer CANoe)Knowledge in using different calibration and programming toolsWork Environment

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $38.00 - $45.00
