Software Controls Engineer
Job Location: Onsite in Menomonee Falls, WI
Salary: Up to $120k + 6% Bonus
Requirements: 6+ years of experience in OOP, Structured Text and Motion Control

4. 100% increase in profit from 2021 to 2022!What You Will Be DoingWhat You Will Be DoingDesign, program, test and maintain user interface and motion control applications:Asist and respond to technical questions from customers and sales teamsDefine project requirements and determine feasibilitypresent design proposals and risk assessmentsCollaborate with engineering, manufacturing and customersDevelop specifications, manuals and timelinesWork with peers and vendors to advance technologies and conceptualize new featuresManage projects to market releaseWhat You Need for this Position5+ years of software development related to manufacturing, in addition to:
- B.S. in Electrical of Software Engineering
- Object-oriented Programming
- Visual Studio
Bonus points if you have experience with:
- Experience with Beckhoff hardware and software
- Design of Motion Control
- Microsoft tech stack: Visual Studio, MVVM, WPF- C++, C# or .NET
- Ability to read electrical schematics- Programming PLCs using structured text (i.e. IEC 61131-3)- Knowledge of CNC theory and part programming
